Assalamo Alaikum,

Weekend is always a better time to get together so after receiving a few replies, I decided for all of us to meet on Friday, the 16th at Panera Bread in Arlington. There is a bollywood party at Penang restaurant in DC, which a few people have suggested, we can go there afterwards. Till next time, you all take care and InshaAllah see you soon.

Thanks,

Nudrat

Sorry I won't be able to make it today, but promise to try for the next meeting. Maybe we can have it at a kabab place.

Alternatively, if that is too big a commitment for you (as it is for all of us who try to juggle our work/life balance), perhaps it would be best if you explored the non-India/Bollywood activities on an individual basis (i.e. apart from the group). As you rightly pointed out, the options are infinite. Regards

Thanks for the feedback; it is continually appreciated. No one is forced to attend, of course. Whoever is not comfortable, your absence will be respected. It will be appreciated if we can make everyone's life easier by simply showing up/not showing up at the event, rather than this continuation of comments.

"Gabriel": "I have no problem with my Indian brothers/sisters/lovers and all"!?! This is certainly NOT "Gabriel-like" and certainly NOT sufi-like; did you lose propriety amongst the hedonists? Enjoy virtuous company and be upright. Imitate the good ways of the Indians: open corps, excel in school/work, invent, innovate, make your own movies! God judges you nation by your deeds & faith. Do not shame Pakistan. Remember your faith & your righteous ways ; God bless us and show us all the right path!

Some may look like Indians but it is NOT about race but their ways. Our way is different. How did you conclude it was about race? If you sabotage our people by pushing them towards the ways of idolaters like this you will suffer yourself; even if you hold a grudge against Pakistan for mistreating minorities like yourself. I would like to share better events with you where people are not hostile :are advanced , rational and civilized. Your enemies wish to push you towards India!
